Unigloves Glove Technologies

NitreGrip® Technology

NitreGrip® Technology occurs in the Nitrex range of gloves that feature a new, advanced surface treatment that provides a secure grip when working in wet and oily conditions and maintains its quality when used in the dry. The sandy nitrile gives an assured grip finish on the nitrile’s surface, comparable to a suction cup that attaches itself firmly to the material being handled. The surface treatment reduces the force needed to grip and allows the glove to stay soft and therefore comfortable, which reduces hand fatigue.

NitreGuard® Technology

NitreGuard® Technology is associated with Nitrex gloves for use in areas with a high cut risk. The technology is related to Nitrex gloves scoring cut levels D to F, only awarded to gloves achieving a straight blade cut resistance of ≥15 Newtons(EN388:2016). Gloves featuring NitreGuard Technology are recommended for use in industries working with glass, sharp metal objects, sharp edges, etc.

Sanitized® Technology

Glove users demand long-lasting odour control when they are wearing gloves to protect their hands. The Sanitized® Hygiene and Odour Control Function is integrated within the glove, neutralising odours and reducing microbial growth. Gloves with this special feature are denoted with the Sanitized® Actifresh logo. This article contains a biocidal product with the active substance sodium pyrithione.

Biodegradable Technology

BioTouch gloves contain a Biodegradable Technology that kickstarts a biodegradation process only when discarded in an active landfill environment. BioTouch is more environmentally friendly, with a much faster natural breakdown compared to regular nitrile, which can take over 100 years.

BioCote® Technology

BioCote irreversibly damages contaminating microbes, stopping them from reproducing and disrupting functions essential to life - ultimately causing them to die. Introduced into our Fortified antimicrobial gloves during the manufacturing process, BioCote antimicrobial additives make the gloves inhospitable to microbes such as bacteria and mould that may contaminate them.
